A very percussive album, the sounds open endless horizons
and spaces that can be filled with analogies, myths and
images.
Always trying to remove himself from being referenced to
a particular genre, Schmickler has had an extraordinary
effect with a unique perspective of interstylistically linking
multitudes of sounds and styles.
The actually heterogeneous mixture of remixers and styles
is not accidential at all. By the selection of remixers
and their way of working (pluralistic), the individual components
which are essential for the monistic PLURAMON sound are
coming out clearly. There can be found at fat, dark rock of
the Scottish band MOGWAI, but also an airy track of SENSORAMA
working with guitar sounds up to processing of sounds of
the laptop master HECKER (Mego) or the melodic approach
of the British band HIGH LLAMAS. As a band, PLURAMON moves
between electronic and guitar sounds and not least because
of this is regarded as one of the most interesting acts
internationally. Today, even the more obscure Lo-Fi bands
work with digital equipment, i.e. with 'electronic'.
