geez'n'gosh

Not all my music is repetitive although I'm very fascinated by repetition. Repetition first of all is so to say a part of the composition that is brought into the song by the machine. Certain machines only allow repetitive structure (like old analog sequencers) while very often repetition nowadays is chosen consciously because it has a certain power. Although the musical structure is repetition, the track itself is very deep and changing all the time. repetition has its own strength and its own beauty. I think it's quite interesting that a technical invention, like the Roland TB 303 bassline created a new aesthetic of its own and because of that the role of the composer and the machine is equivalent.
